What have damages at joints and spine to do with a psychic abnormal additude or -disease?

All organs are connected via the perivascular plexus (meridian) to the brain and so also among each other.

Defined damages at vertebrae, segments and/or meridians cause organic functional disturbances and diseases, besides there might arise psychic abnormal attitudes and -diseases.

The connections, presented in this chapter, originate from the Chinese medicine and there are defined in the functional cicuits.

A functional circuit consists of a storage- and a hollow organ as well as of a body orifice. All body orifices are to be found at the cervical spine. The following damages at the spine can cause the following psychic abnormal attitudes:

• Disturbances in the functional circuit heart (Th2 SMT®)/ small intestine (Th12 SMT®)/ tongue and eyes (C2) with the over the 2nd cervical vertebra connected functional circuit gallbladder (Th4 SMT®)/ liver (Th5 SMT®)/ eyes and tongue (C2) cause not only specific organic functional disturbances and diseases, but on the psychic side also symptoms, which are called agitated depression by the classical medicine. Its symptoms are joylessness, inner restlessness, disturbed sleep, because the thoughts do not come to rest.
• Disturbances in the functional circuit lung (Th3 SMT®)/ large intestine (L1 SMT® and L2 SMT®)/ nose and mouth with the over the 4th cervical vertebra (C4)) connected functional circuit stomach (Th6 SMT®)/ spleen-pancreas (Th8 SMT® and Th7 SMT®)/ mouth and nose (C4) not only produce specific organic disturbances and diseases, but on the psychic side also symptoms of a depression with inner void, lack of drive, formerly known as melancholia.
• The functional circuit bladder (L3 SMT ®)/ kidneys (Th10 SMT® and Th11 SMT®)/ ears and teeth (C3) not only have reference to bladder-, uterus-, prostate- and kidney diseases, but also causes fear symptoms up to panic attacks.
